Brownwood Reunion

Car Show

2009

We hosted the car show for the Brownwood Reunion this year. The Reunion requested that we assemble through pre-entry as many cars from the 1950's that we could possibly fit in the colliseum. Our goal was to have 50 cars inside the colliseum and 2 cars each day at the intersection of Carnegie Street and Adams Street. We met our goal for throughout the weekend we had 53 cars.

ORGANIZING AND SETTING UP

Peggy and Zana

Peggy and Zana were constantly at the registration desk helping with goody bags and surveys. We want to thank the Reunion for the T-shirts and Goody Bags. Everyone enjoyed the Dr. Pepper and the Moon Pie. What do you think of all the Foo Foo paper in the bags? It certainly was colorful.

SHOW TIME

The Reunion had some awesome concerts all weekend, but we had our own special 50's music. Dean Olin provided the soda shop trailer with all the oldies.

Deano's Oldies

Deano is the proud owner of over 3000 oldies. He spins the old vinyl 45's on this antique turn-table.
